Kelcey Meadows-Lucas, volunteer fundraising chair for the Friends of Doylestown Dog Park and Director of Philanthropy for The Humane Society of the United States will share her experiences of using social media to engage the community for the Doylestown Dog Park. Kelcey will present along with Joe Simek, founder of Sano Agency, in the Social Media for Nonprofits at the 2012 SoMeBizLife Conference, May 30 at Delaware Valley College, Doylestown, PA.

Kelcey  is the volunteer fundraising chair for the Friends of Doylestown Dog Park, a group of volunteers working to build a privately funded dog park currently under construction in Doylestown Township. The group has raised over $150,000 in cash and in-kind donations over the past 3 years with an events, online, and major gifts strategy driven by social media. Kelcey has worked at The Humane Society of the United States for the past 8 years in a variety of fundraising positions, most recently as the Director of Philanthropy for PA, NJ, OH & MO. She is proud dog mom of Maizy and Patches who can’t wait to enjoy the park!
