As director of communications, Rod leads the public relations and social media practice groups at Oxford Communications, one of New Jersey’s top 10 marketing agencies located in scenic Lambertville, N.J. Rod’s experience covers a broad portfolio of industries including legal, retail, commercial, hospitality, technology, real estate, franchise, human resources, architecture, medical, higher education and non-profits.
Prior to entering the public relations field, Rod spent more than a decade as a newspaper reporter and, later, editor and publisher of two national legal trade magazines. Combining his representation of clients in a broad variety of fields and more than 15 years of small business management experience, Rod is a frequent speaker (and blogger) on topics that include: crisis communications, media training, public relations fundamentals, social media, business management, career advice and HR issues.
