Mark your calendar for a one-of-a-kind mobile social networking event that will be held September 23-25 in Doylestown PA. Participants will discover, experience and enjoy the fact that “Doylestown Connects” through social networking. The emphasis will be on mobile social networking.

“How do we take our smart phones or tablets with us on the go and use them to enhance our lives, businesses and relationships?”

We’re pulling together details for this upcoming SoMeBizLife event. Here are some quick points:

• The County Theater will serve as the anchor venue, with kickoff sessions on the mornings of Friday, September 23 and Saturday, September 24.
• Educational sessions, roundtable discussions, demos, activities and networking opportunities will take place at businesses, restaurants and venues throughout Doylestown over the course of the three days.
• Sessions will all be oriented toward mobile social networking with topic areas including: basics of mobile social networking, social mobile safety, shopping local businesses with social mobile, choosing restaurants with social mobile, social mobile technology, social mobile for professionals, social mobile for children and families, social mobile and the arts, and much more.
• Everyone who registers will receive an app for iPhone/iPad or Droid phone/tablet to help them connect. You can also connect through a desktop or laptop computer.
• People who register will select sessions and activities according to their interests and when they can participate during the three day event.
• Registration will be $19 per person. Parents who register for the event will be able to bring their children under age 18 with them to activities appropriate for children at no additional charge. Registration will open soon!

We are currently seeking speakers, businesses that wish to participate, and businesses and organizations that would like to sponsor this event. Program details will be finalized in the next couple of weeks.
