We’re doing it again!
Following the June 1 SoMeBizLife Conference, we heard from a bunch of folks who wanted to learn the basics of social media for business. We held two 3-hour workshops attended by nearly 60 people. They told their friends, who told their friends — and so on. Now we’re receiving a steady stream of people asking for more SoMeBizLife Basics seminars. So we’re doing it!
We expect this free conference to “sell out,” so check out the information below, check your calendar and register today!
On Thursday, August 4, you have two options to attend a free 3-hour program “SoMeBizBasics” to help your business or nonprofit organization walk through some of the concrete tactical steps you can take with social media. The first session will be offered from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and the second one will be offered from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Both sessions will cover the same material, so you only have to register for either the morning or the afternoon program.
Some of the topics we will be covering will be: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Blogs, Websites, LinkedIn and Foursquare. If there are other topics you would like to cover, let us know and we will try to add them into the program! Participants may submit questions at the start of the program as well as ask questions throughout.
The event will be held at the Bucks County Boy Scout Council Office, 1 Scout Way, Doylestown — right next to the Bucks County Free Library, the Mercer Museum and the Michener Art Museum. If you are planning to attend, register now! The event is free, but seats are limited. Please register by using one of the buttons below. If you have any questions, please call Chuck Hall, 866-606-7686.
