In this interactive Pro-Session, Steve will lead participants in a discussion of what lies ahead for social media professionals. Steve will draw on his years of navigating the twists and turns of technological innovation in both the corporate world and his own consulting practice.

Bio

Steven L. Lubetkin, APR, Fellow, PRSA, operates Professional Podcasts LLC, an award-winning producer of radio, TV and other multimedia content distributed over the Internet as podcasts. A seasoned technology futurist, Steve was one of the first journalists to use portable computer technology in the field when he reported on a Grateful Dead rock concert in 1977.  He is a Senior Fellow of the Society for New Communications Research, a global think tank for advanced study of new communications tools, technologies and emerging modes of communication, and their effect on traditional media, professional communications, business, culture and society. He is a member of the Online News Association, Radio & Television News Directors Association (RTNDA), National Press Photographers Association, Professional Photographers of America, New Jersey Technology Council, and contributes to AllVoices.com and NowPublic.com. Since 1996, he has written “CompuSchmooze,” a technology column in the Jewish Community Voice of Southern New Jersey (www.jewishvoicesnj.org).
